1 onion

Step 1
We prepare all the ingredients to cook the meat in sauce.In this case we have decided to cook pork, but if you prefer you can follow this same recipe using minced beef.
Step 2
We put the olive oil in a saucepan to heat.
Step 3
When it is hot, sauté it by adding the finely chopped onion and bay leaves and let it sauté.
Step 4
Once sautéed, we add the pork along with the ground garlic, salt, and pepper and let it cook for 10 more minutes.
Step 5
After 10 minutes, we add the white wine, distributing it throughout the casserole.
Step 6
Next, it's the turn of the tomatillo puree from my roots, so add it to the pot, stir and continue cooking.
Step 7
To finish cooking our stewed meat, we let it cook for 45 more minutes over medium heat. You will see that the sauce reduces and thickens slightly, the meat should be soft and tender and the sauce to your liking.
Step 8
After this time, we remove from the heat and serve. You can accompany it with white rice or a green salad.
